Is there a way to use the remote feature in MyMovies V5 to start a movie in CMC? I'm not expecting there is but always pays to ask.

Never mind, I saw the message about going into MyMovies Collection Management -> Tools -> Remote Control Server

I didn't realize the API key was something the MyMovies Windows application locally generates for your account

I read all the material I could find on the Inteset 4-in-1 IR Remote Control Model: INT-422-4 - I found no mention of RC6 so perhaps that's why I didn't make out well trying to implement CMC's Advanced Remote Mapper.

Sorry for delayed response, pesky projects like moving clients off Rackspace Hosted Exchange all weekend get in the way of watching movies. The update did resolve the issue. CMC has been behaving since the last automatic update.

I haven't run MyMovies 3 on Android for a while. I just launched it and it's updating. Looking forward to testing running movies from it.

Also going to check out the Advanced MCE Remote feature.

I did a fresh install of v6 on the machine that was having a problem with v5 and now it's working fine. Thanks

The other two machines I upgraded over the existing installation and they worked fine.

Scrolling seems smoother now.
