Re: What is Unraid and how to build an Unraid media server
Thanks for the link, that was an enjoyable listen. I'm not surprised by the change in pricing, I've long felt that their pay once support forever model was unsustainable - particularly since I had followed the exact same model for CMC. I first bought Unraid way way back in the v2.x days. I can't bel...

Re: Titles with an & do not show up in CMC
No worries, I'm glad it is working for you now.
I'm sure something odd was going on, but I just can't imagine what it was. So definitely keep an eye out for any weirdness in the future, and don't hesitate to let me know.

Here's "21 & Over" in My Movies, and it appears in CMC for me:

Re: Titles with an & do not show up in CMC
That seems odd. I know I've specifically tested titles with ampersands, as I have to do something special to make the & show up, so these were definitely working in the past. I also just checked my collection, and I have 26 titles with ampersands showing in CMC. I compared against my collection ...

Re: Jan 2024 PowerDVD 22 patch removes UHD support!
Thanks for the heads up, Jamie. This is very big news. Sometimes things still work even though support was removed. Obviously Cyberlink is saying that they no longer support official, protected UHD discs. But if foxy has removed protections, does PowerDVD still play the now unprotected disc? After a...

Re: Windows 11/12
Yay, I'm glad that worked. Good job. One possibility (which was going to be the next troubleshooting step) is that if you had already created the netshare for one directory path, but then renamed the folder path to CCC, then that could both break the share and prevent it from being reshared. Maybe i...

Re: Windows 11/12
Let's try it a slightly different way. First close CCC. Then right-click on CCC.exe and select "Run as Administrator". Then complete the NetShare process.

Re: Windows 11/12
Okay, so you have a single PC all-in-one solution, with My Movies, CCC and CMC running together on the same PC. Let me repeat, the NetShare alert window is for CCC, NOT for CMC. And you need to complete this step, you must allow it, or CCC will not work properly, and that is causing problems for CMC...
