Re: Star wars 4k UHD special features
Sky Walker Saga just shipped today! Woohoo! My Amazon shipment just arrived this afternoon. I Love Lucy DVD, Lost In Space Blu-Ray, Star Trek TOS Blu-Ray, and Ghost in the Shell 4k! I’m hopping that the episode mappings already exists in My Movies. Other wise it’s going to be a long weekend. I’m ju...

Re: What would make a good UHD HTPC
Efrain, how much did you pay for that case? Not that I am jealous. Well maybe I am  Depending on options for the HDPLEX H1 V3 fabless chassis $277 to $340 https://hdplex.com/hdplex-h1-v3-fanless-computer-case.html You’d still have to make a pocket for the ir board if you wanted to go that rout...

Re: Star wars 4k UHD special features
Neither could I! My local Best Buy has two copies available, so I guess they are now selling them? I know they are not supposed to have them available before the 31st. I just couldn’t pass it up. Ive been buying a lot of movies and tv series lately. Prepping for 4k. At this time I’m ripping them to ...

Re: Star wars 4k UHD special features
I bought this off of eBay brand new for 180.00 plus tax. It was under 200 so went for it. There’s only two left now. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rise-Of-Skywalker-Saga-4K/324473507513 250 was a bit much for the set, but the 180 was better. I love Star Wars so I think it’s worth it at that price. I have...

Re: Htpc upgrade
The nice thing about Newegg is that it’s up in LA. City of Industry to be exact. I’ll get it the next day if I make it before the cutoff. Getting stuff from Newegg is like opening up presents on Christmas morning. I have all the parts, so I might put it together this weekend, or I might wait until I...

Re: Considering New App - Hotkey Monitor
How’s your progress been so far? I’m looking forward to the day that I have seamless remote control over the players. I really do like MPC-BE, but it’s really not very remote friendly. I like the episode playback, but when I was playing a episode last night once it finished it went to the episode me...

Re: What would make a good UHD HTPC
Unfortunately he’s not able too. All his cases are made in China, so any mods I’ll have to do myself because he doesn’t have the facilities stateside. I think he does all or most of the design himself. They are really nice cases. I’m happy that I bought it. I was going to buy from atech-fabrication,...

Re: What would make a good UHD HTPC
The more I look at your mod the more I want to change mine. I’d have to take it in to his shop. It’s solid aluminum which would be to difficult to use hand tools. Plus it’s really tight in the case space wise. I can lay it out in Solidworks, and then give him the cad file along with the part. Larry ...

Re: What would make a good UHD HTPC
That is what I bought a long time ago from Amazon. I hope I still have in storage. If not I’ll buy another one. Edit: I shouldn’t read so quickly Looking closer at Paul’s mod, you’d still have to remove the USB port from the board by desoldering it. You’re brother would still need to help you. It’s ...

Re: What would make a good UHD HTPC
Paul I wish I could do that as easily with my hdplex case. I can do what you did, but I’ll have to take the face plate into my friends business and have him mill out a pocket. He has a prototype machine shop. He does mostly prototype and small runs. I’ve definitely been thinking about doing that. I ...
