Re: App crash when opening
For reference, here is the error message that shows if you have an unsupported scaling factor:
This CMC version does not support Windows Display Scaling at 175%, 225%, or 350%.
You currently have Display Scaling set to [YOUR VALUE HERE]%, which causes CMC to crash to desktop without any error ...

Re: App crash when opening
Looks like the crash is happening when the form is adjusting it's size, probably to fit your screen resolution.
What is your screen resolution? In the crash report, I see something crazy like 1707 x 1067, which makes no sense to me.
EDIT: I just went back and re-reviewed the original debug logs ...

With Debug Logging enabled, open and close CMC. That should generate the CMC_MovieDB.xml file. Please send that to me.
Oh, and be sure to tell me what TV series is having the problem.

Re: windows 11 issues
C:\Program Files\MPC-BE\mpc-be64.exe is supported in the 7.1 beta (the one I released a year ago, I believe).
Are you running 7.1 or 7.0?
EDIT: Oh, wait, my notes say it was in Build 2, which I don't think I released publicly, only Build 1.

Re: CCC / CMC version incompatability?
7.0.2023.1031 is the current official 7.0 release, available on the main download page.
7.1.2024.0001 is the beta you downloaded the other day. Since the beta didn't fix anything for you, you probably should go back to 7.0.

Your screenshot is a bit vague.
Can you confirm it is the following:

Re: windows 11 issues
Excellent! (but only because that's what I was expecting).
So the mystery is why CMC isn't seeing MPC-BE.
I did make a change in the 7.1 beta to detect MPC-HC installed via the K-Lite Codec packs. But that should be irrelevant for MPC-BE.
You mentioned it was installed normal. Can you provide a ...
