Re: Actor Photos & Details
Keeping in mind that what I write here may be read by anyone, and over time may be viewed hundreds or thousands of times, I wanted to be clear that I would only use ethical metadata sources. My comments regarding scraping weren't particularly aimed at you, but rather my attempt to be upfront about w...

Re: GUI Verbose Level
The on-screen text when starting playback is all it controls. Silent shows nothing. Quiet shows a short message like "Launching MPC", Verbose includes the filepath being passed to the player, and Debug includes the command line switches for troubleshooting purposes. Regardless of what you ...

Re: [Fixed in 7.1] Movie Dates all 01/01/9999 ?
Well, the CCC function that converts My Movies dates to CMC dates was shared, called for nearly all dates. So I made the assumption that if other dates also had the dashes, they would have been broken before I fixed the code. But I just skimmed through the sample XML date you sent me, and it looks l...

Fantastic. I figured it would work out, based upon all the data you provided, but it's nice to see it come to fruition.
Do note that other dates were likely affected by this issue & fix, not just the disc release date, so you may notice improvements elsewhere.

Re: Actor Photos & Details
Yes, I agree this would be nice. While this data already exists inside My Movies, Binnerup never exposed it via the API. I asked him years ago to expose this functionality. More recently, Binnerup has stated that the API is no longer being worked on, so it looks like this will not happen. While I wo...

Re: [Fixed in 7.1] Movie Dates all 01/01/9999 ?
While you can easily run multiple versions of CMC on the same PC (simply by placing them in different folders), CCC is not really designed to be used this way. My recommendation for you is to just extract the full zip into your existing C:\CMC folder. V7.1 is mostly just a bug fix anyway, very minor...

No, I don't think I added any extra logging, sorry. If we still have issues, I will. Though I felt pretty confident that we had identified the core issue, so fingers crossed.
