Re: v7 upgrade problem with Sync
Hey Robert I use CMC_CME to back up the meta data, and sync CME to make sure all is good. Then I use CMC_CCC to watch movies. I'm a bit confused by your statement here. I think you're changing CMC to disable CCC and syncing the [now] legacy CME XML files, just to test that they are good. Then you sw...

Re: Red and Green Buttons Not working
Sorry for the delay, holidays... I am using Logitech Harmony remotes and using the Flirc layouts. Generally, with Logitech remotes for HTPC use you will want to use the Windows Media Center / WMC / MCE emulation, not FLIRC layouts. This could be part of the problem. In the Flirc GUI it talks about i...

Re: Red and Green Buttons Not working
Hey, sorry for the slow reply, holidays are in full swing here. I read through all the new posts, and I do have a theory. The problem is not the remotes. And the problem is not Win11 (or so I currently believe). Instead, I believe the problem is the FLIRC receiver. Earlier I wrote that the FLIRC is ...

Re: Red and Green Buttons Not working
I think what happened is that when you originally set up your Win10 machine, you configured it with the Windows and Record buttons, which modified the registry. Then you changed it to Green and Red, and this too modified the registry, but did not undo the previous registry changes for Windows and Re...

Re: Red and Green Buttons Not working
Okay, looks like you have one notable difference between your Win10 and Win11 configs. On Win10, you have Green and Red configured the same as on Win11, doing [CTRL]+[ALT]+8 and [ALT]+F4. But on Win 10 you ALSO have Windows (aka The Big Green button) and Record (aka The Red Dot) configured to do [CT...

Re: TV Series episodes not always marked as watched and other errors
Double-checked my code for displaying episode runtimes: Runtime := MovieDB.Title[TitleIndex].Season[S].Episodes[EpisodeIndex].Runtime; if RunTime.IsEmpty then Runtime := '~' + MovieDB.Title[TitleIndex].SeriesInfo.OrigRunTime.ToString + 'm'; So, uhm... yeah. That tilde is all CMC, you won't find that...

Re: TV Series episodes not always marked as watched and other errors
Okay, I think we're really close to figuring this issue out. And I think it may be a source data issue. First, here's how the episode time should look when shown in CMC: image.png Notice it clearly indicates 19 minutes and 33 seconds. Next, look at how your Bureau episode length looks: image.png Mis...

Re: Red and Green Buttons Not working
If I hit CTRL+ALT+8 it launches CMC. This is good. It shows that the shortcut was created correctly, and the problem is that the button is not issuing the hotkey to call the shortcut. I know on WMC installs (Win7/8.1) that Microsoft blocks changing mappings for some remote buttons. But the 4 colore...

Re: Red and Green Buttons Not working
Try this hotkey: CTRL+ALT+8 That is a custom hotkey that should call the CMC shortcut to launch CMC, same as pressing the Green button. Also, want to make sure we're talking about the same green button. There's the four color buttons (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow), and then the Big Green Button. Make su...

Yep, that's it.
And each playclick event is logged in a separate timestamped file (as long as they start 1 minute apart), so you can easily do multiple if you feel the need.
