This is not a bug in CMC. Just an FYI to Windows 10 users who update windows to the latest feature update. 2018 fall update for this particular issue and the Spring update had the same issue.
If you update Windows 10 to the latest feature update, you may notice that your CMC remote settings no longer work. Just reprogram the remote settings to what your settings were prior to the feature update.
