Hi Paul,
I saw a post in the mymovies forum which stated that a -1 rating in my movies was causing some titles to not show up in cmc. Brian stated that -1 indicated that -1 meant that the title had no rating. Were you able to fix this?

-1 rating causing some titles not show up
Re: -1 rating causing some titles not show up
Yes, I fixed it, it'll be in the next beta.
But the problem is bigger than Brian is alluding to.
I was recently troubleshooting this issue with another user. They have hundreds of TV Series, and only about 10% of them were showing in CMC. Of course, the problem was the -1 on the stars rating.
But, consider the following: The inability of CMC to display TV Series that have a -1 has been an issue since v1. And a year ago, no one was complaining, CMC was displaying all TV Series. So I think it is safe to say, that a year ago, no TV Series had a -1 Star Rating.
And it gets worse. I LOCK all of my TV Series, to prevent my meticulously curated episode mappings from being blown away (happened way too many times for me to ever allow it again). Since they're locked, nothing can change. So one of my TV Series, The Big Bang Theory, has a Star Rating of 9 (seriously, only 4.5 stars for the greatest show ever? Should be 5 stars for sure!). But the user who has lost 90% of their TV Series visibility, they also have the exact same The Big Bang Theory but it has a -1 Stars Rating, thus it does not show.
In my book, this is some kind of data rot, or data corruption. While I might disagree with TBBT only having 4.5 stars, at least it had a rating, and to be honest a fairly accurate rating. This was good data. So why would that good data get replaced by a -1? I'm fine with a brand new TV Series not having a rating, and a -1 makes sense here. But this value is like a virus, corrupting the vast majority of TV Series it seems.
And we wouldn't even know about it if it wasn't for this CMC bug.

Re: -1 rating causing some titles not show up
Yes it is getting worse with TV series. Looking back at the problem I think it started when my movie 5.41 beta was then released as non beta. Something changed in the code because my tv series showed up but then after I upgraded to the latest version TV shows started to disappear. Just now I was working on the series Blue Planet 2 which was listed twice in CMC one was 4K version the other was blu ray. They showed up fine in CMC well I decided to consolidate the 2 adding the blu ray discs to the 4K listing, Pretty straight forward I saved the title remove the blu ray listing ran CCC fired up CMC and now the title is gone.
Re: -1 rating causing some titles not show up
Sorting the TV series by rating, unlike movies, is something I have never done. I would be happy to have all of my TV series back in CMC, even if that meant being unable to sort the series by star rating. At least for now, this -1 rating does not appear to have infected the movie titles.
Re: -1 rating causing some titles not show up
This is why I placed this post here. First to see whether it was fixed. Second to see whether others were aware of it.
Someone should let Brian know. I would do it but he ignores my posts now on the mymovies forum. We got into a disagreement and I said some things that I shouldn't have said and he banned my account from the forum for a year. I was in the wrong so I deserved the ban.

Re: -1 rating causing some titles not show up
if you want to see your tv serries in CMC for now change the tv series in my movies to movie or documentary but, be for warned you will loose your episode mappings. you will see the tv series but you will loose the ability of directly playing an episode
