[CLOSED - Not possible] VCD disabled - Powerdvd experiences MPLS not found error

Post by Jamie » Sun May 26, 2019 5:23 pm

Hi Paul,

Since this bug is from a previous release I am placing this bug report here.

I have disabled VCD and Powerdvd is setup for playing bluray TV episodes. I attempt to play a bluray episode and after waiting a minute the error shown in the attached screenshot pops up. It basically says that it can't find the MPLS file on my VCD drive. This is the only bug I found regarding the disabling of VCD.

This isn't a supported use of CMC.

When playing an episode that is on an ISO, the ISO has to first be mounted, then I have to import the MPLS playlist file (identified by the MPLS #) and from that I extract the stream filename.

Since you've disabled VCD, the ISO isn't mounted to read the MPLS playlist file to get the stream filename. I need the stream filename to pass to PowerDVD as part of the launch command.

This is the technical equivalent of putting the cart before the horse.
