Hello Paul,

I was checking out Chameleon v2.1 build 2019.0123 and whenever I try to play an iso file using DVD Fab Player 5 I get the following error:



My machine is running Microsoft Windows 10 X64 Pro

Do you have any indication what might be the problem ?

Hi Andreas,

Can you browse out to C:\Program Files (x86)\DVDFab Player 5\ and make sure the program file "DVDFab Player 5.exe" exists?

Also, it is trying to play the disc in drive I:\, please make sure that is your Virtual CloneDrive letter, and if not then correct it in the Settings.

Let me know what you find.

Thanks for the quick reply

The "DVDFab Player 5.exe" is in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\DVDFab Player 5" folder.

The settings for virtual clone drive are also correct...

The iso files are mounted from a network share on my unraid server, if this makes any difference....

If you can think of anything else let me know.

What specific version of DVDFab Player 5 are you running?

I am running DVD Fab Player v5.025

I had 5.0.2.0 installed, and it worked fine. I then checked for updates, and updated to the most recent, 5.0.2.7, which also worked fine.

So far I've been unable to replicate the issue.

Please perform the following:

1. Enable Debug logging in the Settings
2. Try to play a movie to DVDFab Player 5
3. Turn off Debug logging
4. Email or post here the PlayClick debug log file that was created

2 things: please repeat those steps above with a disc that isn't already mounted, and also try with a disc that is either a DVD or Blu-ray, not an UHD 4K disc. Then post the playclick log.

Here are the logs Paul. I tried with a blu ray first and then with an UHD disk. Both try outs ended with the same error.

I haven't been able to replicate this issue, and the logs (thanks for sending them) did not provide any answers. Everything in the log looks right to me.

Please open a command prompt and run the following command:
