[RESOLVED] Missing titles and tv series
I'm New to this and wondering why I only got 384 titles showing, instead of 695 and none of the tv series showing either.
Re: Missing titles and tv series
Hi ricardo8369,
The # of titles shown in CMC will not match My Movies. TV Series and Box Sets only count as 1 title, so that reduces the total number you see in CMC. Also, depending upon the various filters you apply (Media Type, Unwatched Only/Show All, Genres, Categories, Advanced Filters, Real-time Search) those can all reduce the # shown in CMC too.
It is important to remember, the # shown in CMC is the # of titles on-screen, not the # of titles from My Movies.
If you want to see what was imported, go to Settings > Licensing & About CMC > Show Movie DB Information. That should give you the number very similar to My Movies, though it might be even higher than My Movies, as CMC typically has more data.
Regarding not seeing your TV Series, are you using CME?
Paul

Re: Missing titles and tv series
Hi Paul, yes I’m using the CME.
I just find it strange that they don’t all show, as the setting in the Advanced Filter is set to, Show all disc types, filter by media type is set to, show all media types.
And how do I get titles showing that not on a server, disc only?
Richard

Re: Missing titles and tv series
If you're using CME, then your TV Series should be showing. They will be grouped together as a box set, using the tv show name. Are you sure they're not there? Try changing the Media Type to Show TV Series, that will make them easier to find.
Regarding your offline disc only titles, CME doesn't export those. The good news is that I have a brand new app, CCC, that exports everything and does it better and easier than CME, and it's in the final stages of testing and will be released in a few days.

Re: Missing titles and tv series
It should be showing Babylon 5, Farscape, Jonathan Strange, Vikings and Westworld
Tried to upload a photo, but keep getting an error for some reason
With this new app that’s coming out soon, does it work the same way as this does, or is it completely different?

Re: Missing titles and tv series
Okay, let's pick one to troubleshoot.
In CME, disable Changes Only if you had enabled that, put "Westworld" in the text filter box, then run an export. Share the output here.
CCC is very similar to CME, they actually share about 75% of their code, but there are some fundamental differences. CME exports metadata files to your media folders, which is why it only works for online titles. CCC doesn't do that, instead it centrally creates a CMC movie DB, and CMC PC's connect to your CCC PC to grab a copy, eliminating the folder scanning Sync process. CCC supports offline titles and movie collections (new in MM v5.30). CCC also adds user accounts, parental restrictions, user preference syncing, and superior watch history tracking and reporting.

Re: Missing titles and tv series
Sorry but where’s the text filter box?
Re: Missing titles and tv series
First, make sure that "Export Changes Only" is disabled, so it can export titles that haven't changed recently:
Then put Westworld in the text filter box ("Only Export Titles with Name containing:") and click Run Export:

Think I’ll wait for your new app later this week.
