Offline Discs not updating
Offline Discs not updating
I noticed several of my disc's show offline in CMC. I went in and set the file path within the MM Client. It has been nearly an hour and they have not updated within CMC. I tried the quick and full sync with no effect. What can I try next? My CMC client is connected to CCC.
Re: Offline Discs not updating
Make sure CCC is running and processing changes.
Also, there's is a bug in My Movies, when you update the path it doesn't register as a change, so CCC doesn't export it. I reported this a few days ago on the My Movies forum, but Binnerup hasn't responded yet:

Try changing something on the record (i.e. add a space then remove it in the description field) then save it.
Let me know how it goes.

Re: Offline Discs not updating
Not working. I tried on two different titles.
I also noticed that the titles I updated as watched in the MM IOS client, updated in the MM PC client but not in CMC.

In CMC, inside the Sync icon, is anything shown?

Re: Offline Discs not updating
When I go in there is nothing, Sometimes when I go to sync, and exclamation mark appears. If I try sync again it goes away. It doesn't happen all the time.
Re: Offline Discs not updating
The exclamation mark means CMC can't reach CCC. This can be a network issue, a firewall issue, or CCC not running. You want to keep CCC running all the time.
So, you have CCC running? And you see the countdown timer?

Re: Offline Discs not updating
CCC is running 24/7 on my server. My clients can communicate. I have checked it several times from within settings. When I manually sync, it starts to rotate, then JPG shows for a bit then it stops. Is that the countdown timer?
Re: Offline Discs not updating
The countdown timer is in CCC. Click 'Start Auto-Export Jobs'.

Re: Offline Discs not updating
Once I did that, everything synced and it is counting down. Is there a setting I missed?
Re: Offline Discs not updating
There is a setting in CCC to start the export on startup. But otherwise, I give you the control over when data is exported from My Movies. For example, during My Movies upgrades, or when you're doing a lot of collection maintenance, it's best to turn off the export.
This is all spelled out in the tutorials. If you missed this, you might have missed other features too.
