CMC doesn't recognize PowerDVD Version 21 as an external player yet.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'll update CMC v5, which should be out very soon.

If you don't mind, please share your PowerDVD 21 filepath with me, so I make sure to do it right.

I've added a function to CMC v5 to dynamically guess the current path for future version numbers based upon the year. As long as CyberLink continues to use PDVDLP.exe and place it in a folder named PowerDVDyy, then v5 should be good for a hundred years of new PowerDVD releases, give or take a few decades.

Can you give a clue when v5 will be released?

I was originally targeting Oct 31, 2021. Obviously I'm running late.

I'm working through several logged defects, and then it's back to Beta testing. As of right now, my best projection is around the end of January if everything goes well.

This has been an especially troublesome release for me, not only with bugs in CMC v5, but also bugs in my development tools after I upgraded to the most recent version. I'm doing what I can, please be patient.
