Hi Haven’t been on CMC for a long time, cos I’ve been busy and also been ill. Also I had to do a new install of Windows 10 and install all the software, including yours which is now v6.0 and some of it has now changed. When I click on the CMC icon to get the program running, I now get a window saying, [SaveConfig] EFCreateError. Cannot create file ‘C\CMC.cfg’. Access is denied.
Strange it says that when I am a previous member.

Re: v6.0
Hi Ricardo, hope you're doing better now.
For some reason, CMC is trying to write to the root directory of your C drive. Windows doesn't allow this.
CMC needs to be installed in a subfolder, I recommend C:\CMC\
Also, you need to launch CMC from inside that folder. If you pinned it to your task bar or start menu, that could be the problem. Also, if you created a shortcut, it could be misconfigured. Best to launch it directly from inside CMC folder.
If you want a start menu or taskbar button, then I recommend you use CMC's remote control launch button configuration tool in the Settings. That will create a start menu shortcut for you that works correctly, and you can pin that to your taskbar too.
The shortcut has to have the CMC directory set as the working directory, or else it won't with right.
Hope that helps.

Re: v6.0
Ah yes, I think I can remember doing that from before, as you mentioned that.
Will do that either later today or tomorrow.
(Have pain with nerves/muscles and groin area all on left side, although had a MRI scan almost 2 weeks ago, still waiting to hear back. All from a cycling accident 7 years ago and made it worse just the other week. Things happen I guess)

Re: v6.0
Sorry about that. I think that's a known issue that I've since resolved, but only released in a beta.
Please give this special beta a try: CMC v6 Beta 6
