[Resolved] Windows 11/12

Post by ricardo8369 » Thu Jan 25, 2024 10:29 am

Paul just wondering when you will make CMC compatible with Windows 11 and with Windows 12 when that comes out later this year?

I did do a test with it on Windows 11 to see what would happen.
Well CCC works well and so does CMC Metadata Exporter
But when it comes with CMC, I get a thick black frame going around it.
(I didn’t do a full test to see if anything works, like playing a movie, Tv series or music.)

CMC, CME, and CCC, plus all associated components, work on all versions of Windows from 7 through 11.

I personally daily drive CMC on two different Win11 PC's.

Any issues you're experiencing likely have a different root cause.

As far as Windows 12 goes, well cross that bridge once they open it...

It’s gone back again.
When I restart or switch off and go back on, I get the thick black frame again.

I don’t usually do a unzip but I did this time to see if it makes any difference and thought if had. But it didn’t.
Also i get a window saying about Netshare folder which I never get in Windows 10.
I might leave it and just wait for Windows 12 and just carry on with Windows 10???

I can’t add the 2rd screenshot of the window saying about the Netshare folder, even if I crop it
