Hi,
I randomly started getting this error on opening CMC on my client and server machines. I did not update, it just started showing. My CCC seems to be on a 2004 release, and cmc on a 10.31.2023 release... I was going to pull the latest from the web to "update" my CMC and noted your web hosts the "older" 10.31.2023 build...
What steps do i need to take to bring CMC up to the same version without causing issues with my install, and more importantly, where do i pull this latest version from?
Thanks!

Re: CCC / CMC version incompatability?
7.0.2023.1031 is the current official 7.0 release, available on the main download page.
7.1.2024.0001 is the beta you downloaded the other day. Since the beta didn't fix anything for you, you probably should go back to 7.0.

Re: CCC / CMC version incompatability?
odd thing is, i didn't touch my server, yet the CC host shows the new 7.1 version now. Would the client cause the update?
There's no issue when i click ok to get past the nagging message... is there a way to simply disable this version conflict dialog? I'd prefer not to have to update all my clients to the new beta version if i can prevent it.
I really don't want to downgrade my server. Things are working well, i don't want to jinx it by manipulating the software on my server box...

Re: CCC / CMC version incompatability?
Yes, the client automatically updates the server. It's a convenience feature. You download the new client, but it requires a newer server version. Rather than crippling the system, the client uploads the new CCC to the server, and the server updates itself.
Downgrades are manual. Just close CCC, copy the CCC.exe from version 7.0 on top of the v7.1 version on the server, and restart. That's all there is to it.
No way to turn off the nags.
There's only 1 fix in CCC v7.1, related to PC's using a short date with dashes instead of slashes. Probably doesn't affect you.
