Ok, here is my latest problem. Everything has been working great, updated to v8.0, no problems with the update. As mentioned earlier I am running MM v5.40 because I had problems with v5.42. So nothing changed on the MM side of things. I think I have had this problem before but never paid any attention to it(will explain later).
I watch a movie 1/11/2026, and when I get done it has a green check mark indicating it was watched. I have no errors and all is good to go. I shut down the computer and come back at a later date 1/14/2026, and start the computer and it displays an error for UpdaterWatchedFlags status. I exit the error and it does not come back as far as I know, but didn’t get that deep into starting and restarting after finding the cure below. Will try that next I guess just to see what happens. The connection status in CCC indicates that it updated the status again 1/14/2026 to watched (don’t have the one before shutting down 1/11/2026, but it did say updated status). The CCC Export log says it updated the status to watched on 1/11/2026 And the CCC Scan Watched Folders Log says it marked it as watched, as well as you can see that it marks movies repeatedly as watched (the movies without remorse and space cadet only marked once cause I was troubleshooting which will be explained below about saving MM) Having a problem with number of attachments so will continue with another post

The CMC Out Of Sync Titles Report shows that no updates are needed If I open MM, go to personal, I can see that the movie is marked as watched there. In mymovies.xml and mmTitle.xml, both have metadata indicating false(not watched) I tried many things in troubleshooting, but this is what I found that seems to stop the error. As mentioned above, in MM personal data, when you close that window there is an option for cancel (closes and does nothing) or OK. If you select OK, then the SAVE option illuminates and when you exit or change movies, it says changes were made do you want to save?
After saving, the mymovies.xml metadata changes to true(watched) but the mmTitle.xml remains as false(not watched) At this point I went back to CCC and ran an auto export and got the CCC Export.log and CMC Out Of Sync Titles Report.txt and looked at the mmTitle.xml and it is still marked as false(not watched) One more post to go

I do keep the Test Only checked for CCC Export, but it still updates MM as watched, just not the metadata, not sure if that might be it. Will try unchecking that for next troubleshooting also.
I just built another setup for my daughter, using the same versions of software and don’t seem to have the same problem on hers, so it must be a setting or something in mine, just can’t seem to figure out what it might be. It seems to be leading to MM, of course, as far as I can tell.
