Re: What is Unraid and how to build an Unraid media server
I saw this today. I'm not sure, but I think it may affect us and how we use Unraid. https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/nas/windows-11-24h2-may-block-connections-to-unsecured-third-party-nas-devices-microsoft-enables-smb-signing-for-enhanced-security I don't currently use a username/password ...

Re: Moving along a row of ICONs slow
Yay, glad you got it figured out. Sorry I didn't think to mention that as a possibility. CMC is supposed to run in an offline mode when CCC is unreachable. While I know that it does impact performance a bit, I don't think I've seen it as bad as what you described. When CMC is in CCC mode, artwork ca...

Re: Moving along a row of ICONs slow
Hi Brian, The scrolling speed is directly affected by hard drive performance. Each movie cover is loaded in real-time. A fast SSD is highly recommended, and allows scrolling to be very fast. Perhaps you are using slower mechanical/spinning hard drives? Or slower SSDs? Not all SSD's are created equal...

Re: $152 nuc on amazon - complete 4k uhd pc
Fingers crossed, hope it goes well. Looking forward to the results. Probably the biggest hurdle will be different codecs. The more advanced codecs, the ones that makes the smallest files, take more horsepower to decode and playback. So you may find the results vary with different sources, depending ...

Re: [Fixed in v7.1RC2] MPC-BE Launch errors from CMC
Yep, agreed, I never liked that they had multiple install folder names based upon the bit-version installed, especially when they were already going into different paths anyway (Program Files (x86) vs Program Files). Seemed convoluted. Hopefully this is just them finally cleaning up that logic.

Re: [Fixed in v7.1] TV Series episodes not always marked as watched and other errors
Okay, I've added additional debug logging to v7.1 RC2. I've also added new logic to try using the Series' Disc Runtime if the Serie's Original Runtime is too small (i.e. zero). So the selection order will be: Actual Episode Runtime Series Original Runtime (typically 30 or 60 min) Series Disc Runtime...

Re: MPC-BE Launch errors from CMC
I checked, and "C:\Program Files\MPC-BE\mpc-be64.exe" is a combo I've not seen before. Currently, CMC checks for: "C:\Program Files\MPC-BE x64\mpc-be64.exe" "C:\Program Files\MPC-BE\mpc-be.exe" "C:\Program Files (x86)\MPC-BE\mpc-be.exe" So CMC looks for mpc-be...

Is that UHD 630 a minimum requirement for DVDS, or Blu-rays, or 4K UHD?

Re: $152 nuc on amazon - complete 4k uhd pc
Careful, such a low end PC may not have the horsepower for HTPC duty. While it may have 4K display support, that just means it can connect to a 4K display and output a desktop at that resolution. It does not guarantee that it will be able to play 4K movies - in fact I'd be surprised if it could. If ...

Re: MPC-BE Launch errors from CMC
The problem is that the MPC-BE executable was not found.
Please post the path to the MPC executable so I can determine why it wasn't found.
