Hi Paul,
Have you upgraded the forum software recently? It doesn't seem that you can paste urls into the posts anymore. You need the use the
tags now.

I've been pasting URLs today no issues, without the URL tags. I pasted several in the HTPC thread today.
No recent forum upgrades. There is one available that does make mention of a fix for URL's, which are being incorrectly shortened, but I believe that is with the URL tags. That's not a new issue, the forum has been on this version for many months.

Must be something I'm doing unconsciously. The last post worked. I posted earlier about the asus mini-pc and the url didn't appear. I went in and edited the post, saw that the url was there, but couldn't get it to display without the url tag. I also noticed in some of your posts that they have large gaps like you added a graphic, but I couldn't see the graphics.

Here is a screen shot of your post and how they appear to me. Looks like a graphic or url but I can't see them. You mention a $400 minipc which I might be interested in checking out.

Maybe you have an adblocker. I don't know how it works, but whenever I post links to Amazon, they automatically embed a graphic button instead of the normal text URL. Here's how that same post appears on my machine:

Yes, it was privacy badge and it was probably why I couldn't see some of my urls. I excluded the domain
https://chamconsoft.com and the forum functions properly now. Thanks for mentioning that ad Blocker. I would probably never have noticed until you mentioned it. People, including myself, should be aware of these things,

I probably need to find a way to turn off that Amazon URL to Ad converter. I have no idea if it is something I added in to the forum, or a core feature of the forum software. It's kind of neat, but not so much that it's worth the adblocker hassle.
